Vélo! Vélo! is a conference of bicycle collectives, such as community bicycle workshops and bike share programs.
Modeled on the Bike! Bike! conference in the US, Vélo! Vélo! provides an opportunity for volunteers and staff at bike collectives to build solidarity, share knowledge and collaborate on their respective projects.
This year, the conference will take place September 24-26, 2010, at Université de Québec à Montréal. The conference will be in English and French, with whispered translation available in either language.
This year's event was made possible by the Generations Pact, the Sierra Youth Coalition and Vélo Québec.
Vélo! Vélo! is organized by BQAM and RésoVélo, a solidarity group of
QPIRG Concordia.
